Buy with confidence.
We are a specialist refurbished appliance retailer. Our returns process is designed to be straightforward while recognising the practical nature of large domestic appliances.
Changed your mind?
If you buy online, by telephone or another distance method, you normally have a 14-day cancellation period after receiving the goods. You do not have to give a reason.
After telling us you wish to cancel, the goods should normally be returned within the applicable period. Because washing machines and other appliances are bulky, please contact us before arranging a return so that we can agree the practical method.
Where the law allows the customer to bear direct return costs for a change-of-mind cancellation, those costs may apply where they were made clear before purchase. We will not charge return costs where the law requires us to bear them.
A customer is entitled to handle goods as reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Using, installing or handling an appliance beyond what is reasonably necessary can affect the value of the goods and may lead to a lawful deduction where permitted.
Faulty or not as described
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, consumers generally have a short-term right to reject goods that do not conform to the contract within 30 days, subject to the legal rules and circumstances.
Repair or replacement
Depending on the circumstances, the law generally provides for repair or replacement, with further remedies available if the problem is not resolved as required by law.
When a refund is due
Where you have a legal right to a refund, we will process it in accordance with the applicable consumer law and the payment method used, subject to any lawful deduction.
Helping us resolve faults
For a fault claim, photographs, videos, error codes and a clear description can help us diagnose the issue quickly. We may need to inspect the appliance.
Returns questions
Can I return an appliance simply because I don't like it?
For qualifying online/distance purchases, the statutory cancellation right normally applies. In-store or other purchases may have different cancellation rights, although faulty or misdescribed goods remain protected by consumer law.
Can you refuse a return because it is refurbished?
Refurbished or second-hand goods sold by a trader are still covered by consumer law. Their condition, description, price and known characteristics are relevant when assessing satisfactory quality.
What if I damaged the appliance myself?
Damage caused by misuse or an attempted repair may affect the available remedy. We will assess the circumstances fairly and in accordance with your statutory rights.
